PT12 has problems with iLok

Although, this might seems like a problem with iLok. But perhaps, PT12 might be the problem here. Even if it's indeed an iLok issue, I hope to find an answer here.

So, a couple days ago I decided to buy a PT12 student subscription. I bought a 2nd gen iLok installed the software and everything went fine. Within an hour or less I had everything set and ready to go. PT12 was working fine there were no problems whatsoever.

The next day I had to do project in the studio so I brought my Macbook with me. Plugged in the iLok and tried to open up Pro Tools. This error popped up:



Before starting up PT I made sure the blue light on my iLok was glowing. Also the little icon was purple which means the usb has been recognized by my macbook (right?).



When I open up AvidAplicationManager I see this:







Note that when I open up the licensing tab it says that Pro Tools has not been activated. When I reboot my macbook and plugin my iLok key, it says activated. What I don't get though is that it's not always on activated.

Now when I open up iLok License Manager this is what I see:



But when I log out i see this:



Note that it says it has 1 activation on it. After this PT sometimes works and sometimes not. Long story short, it's very unstable. Because whenever I log back in my activation on my iLok disappears.

What are the exact steps I must follow so it stops being so unreliable. Have spent 2 days in the studio having this problem and I really need to finish some deadlines.
