So I've purchased PT 10/11 after using Reason for quite a while, thinking this would be the next big step in recording.
I've faced nothing but frustration so far learning this new DAW and I have some questions... Hopefully someone here can help me out!
So in Reasons flex tempo is really amazing. For example, when laying down a guitar clip that's a bit too complicated to get perfect, you can decrease the tempo to where it's easier to play, and then readjust the tempo to the original BPM. It then plays the clip in the same key and tempo as everything else and sounds really great. It's a simple process.
NOW in pro tools, it's so much more complicated to me. I've searched and found a method to doing it, but there are so many steps that really stress my workflow. Can someone suggest a simpler method?
Thank you so much!!
