Does this feature exist in PT?

I was working in a studio last week where the engineer was running logic. (which is fine);)



he used a trick to jump from one region to another, in effect 'auditioning' what the song would sound like if he would have removed that section with an actual edit. You get me?



I've never seen or found this feature on PT. just wondering if it does exist somewhere. Seems like it should as its a nice trick.

i did search for it but wasn't really sure what terms to use
