I have been fiddling around with recording ect but am planning to start taking it seriously and build a small studio setup. I currently own an eleven rack and want to buy a new computer. I do not want to start the usual debate (Mac vs Pc) as i know they can both produce great results but am going for the Mac this time since from past experience my PC disrupted my workflow (mainly because i do not know how to tweak it to be honest). So what do you think?
If i opt for a Mac I am considering 2 options. Mac mini which I plan on upgrade as I go along or an iMac. I have to also buy a keyboard and monitor for the mini which although will bump up the price quite a bit is still cheaper than an iMac. Would you think that price difference will be worthit if i choose the iMac?
(1 gross feature i noticed on the mac was the 3.2ghz processor vs the 2.6ghz on the mini. Does this make a big difference?)
