I've been out of the pro tools world for a long time. The last version I had and used was a PT 6 HD system.
My last studio was Radar based.
I'm a little overwhelmed by how much the system seems to have changed but I'm really interested in a small HD native setup for personal home use and to get familiar with Pro Toos again.
I searched but couldn't find this the answer, forgive me if its been answered.
If I buy a " broken up bundle " of thunderbolt with hd 11 native can I just hook up a 192 i/o instead of buying an omni? Would I be able to monitor from the headphone out of the thunderbolt? I have read that blue interfaces work with hd 11 but they always seem to also be using an omni or a HD i/o.
