Hi,
I'm 20 years old. I just left one university (did 2 years on literature) and now I'm studying Sound (in another university). The course requires its students to use ProTools due to obvious reasons (Almost everyone here uses Pro Tools)
With that said, I want to buy a portable workstation that is reliable and can perform awesomely at least until late 2017...
I'm mainly a PC guy but the portable windows workstations that I've seen are as or more pricier than the macbook pro's so, what model do you recommend me?
Below is an example of a Macbook Pro that I've found new. What are your thoughts?
Apple MacBook Pro 15'' Retina i7-2,8GHz | 16GB | 512GB | Iris Pro + GeForce GT 750M 2GB GDDR5
I'm going to use Logic Pro X (when composing band or songwriter stuff) and ProTools 11 (mainly for Cinema and TV work).
Sorry if this post is in the wrong thread but I'm new here!
Thanks in advance!
