002R: Outboard Midi Port Options?

Hello,



Is there anything special I need to be aware of in order to get more midi inputs by employing another midi interface? What is the process to check compatibility?



System Information:

Version: PT 7.4

Hardware: 002 Rack and Mackie HUI

Motherboard: ASUS Sabertooth 55I P55 R (using I5 750 quad @ 2.66Ghz.)

Ram: 8G

OS: XP SP3

Available Midi Interface: MOTU Fastlane USB
