CPU Meter...Redux

I swear I will never understand what the PT 11 CPU meter is doing!! Last night I converted several VI instrument tracks over to audio. I then hid and made inactive the instrument tracks. Just to check, I opened the system usage meter window because I wanted to see how making the VI's inactive would affect the CPU. Now, my expectation would be it would go down. But...wait for it...it INCREASED! Huh? I swear, I had about 8% on the meter before I made the track inactive, and 15% AFTER.



Yeah, that makes sense! Anyone else ever have something similar? Just wondering!
