The time came for me to finally upgrade my old 6core 3.33ghz mac pro to a trashcan. My experience on that computer was that no matter what I did EUCON was only marginally stable at its very best, which after a couple of years of hell lead me to my "DONE" post that you can read a couple of pages in.
I have DREADED this upgrade mostly because of the horror stories about EUCON and mavericks (but also because slate dropped the ball on FG-X.) I'm three hours in on the new system and 3.2 seems to actually work. The pan knobs are even responding fairly smoothly. I'm stunned. Now make shift-rewind act as RTZ and let me freely bank faders in both directions like the old days and we're on to something.:-)
This is a tentative THANK YOU for making it work.
(I did use cocktail to turn APP NAP off before I even tried to use EUCON)
