Just wondering if anyone has any thoughts on this:
....So I've been troubleshooting -9128 and occasional "System held off interrupts -60xx" errors in PT10 (full details in another thread), and wanted a more comprehensive readout of what my CPU cores / memory / hdds / etc where doing.. Installed iStat Menus to fill that roll.
....Anyway, my overall CPU usage is ~15-17% depending on the session, and iStat's graphs show generally even usage across all 12 of my physical CPU cores. (Note: PT10's system usage generally shows something more like 45-55%)..
That being said, I wanted to see how bad the audio would be if I checked the "Ignore Errors During Playback/Record" box.. so I did.. and for some reason (which isn't coming readily to mind), the readout of usage on my first CPU core dropped dramatically, while the other 11 cores remained unchanged...
Any thoughts on this?? Something I'm not thinking of?
..Mainly I just found it curious and was interested to know if anyone had any theories/explanations.
