Yosemite Problem

Could not find answers searching. Forgive me if repost. I will be brief so you can help:

Was running 10.3.9 on Mavericks on my MacBook and studio Mac Pro with no problem.

Upgraded MacBook to Yosemite, having exact same problem as this guy:

Can not uninstall, can not reinstall.

Using 11 breaks my Waves, McDSP, DUY, Antares and AudioEase plug in bundles, which collectively would be unreasonably expensive to upgrade, and a downgrade to an older OS makes the box essentially only usable for PT because I have to use all outdated software, which would also make my MacBook useless for my other job which requires current software, not to mention I need to erase-and-install to downgrade just to uninstall PT10.

What on Earth can I do. I have switched to Logic because of this expensive upgrade dance I do every few years, since I can wrap my plugs, but I have sessions to finish editing and I only upgraded from 8 so I can do so outside of the studio with my MacBook, which is no longer possible.

Have any of you guys had any luck wrapping plugs in 11, or running 10 on Yosemite? I see many people have no problem with the Yosemite upgrade and PT10, but I don't know why it works for them and not for me.

Thank you very much for the time you took to read my post. I am really in a tough spot because of all of this.
