I've been having issues for a couple of weeks now, where not all the time, but a lot of the time, when I drag and drop a file into pro tools it changes to a different file and always to the same one.
For example, I'll drag in the SFX of a train door opening and it will change to a line of dialogue that is earlier in the session.
It doesn't seem to matter what file I drop in, or the root location of the files.
It doesn't seem to happen if I import the files via File>Import>Audio, but this is very inconvenient when track laying for video.
I'm running PT11.2.1 native on an early 2011 13" Macbook pro 2.3GHz, 16GB Ram, Boot SSD drive, 7200 storage drive.
Operating System: 10.9.5
Firewire Interface: Metric Halo 2882
Dual Screen from thunderbolt port.
Any explanations/cure would be greatly appreciated.
