Hey all,
This year I am looking in investing in redundancy. Hence, I've been thinking how I could replace my video out solution (Mac Pro, Video Satellite LE, Blackmagic card) with the least downtime possible.
What I am after is a firewire video interface, that I could permanently patch up on the non-video Mac, and connect to the TV either via component or through an SDI to HDMI converter. Minimum downtime that would take just the flip of two buttons.
But it would be fantastic if there was a PT compatible firewire interface that could output 24fps and take ref in as well. I would definitely be getting a MOJO SDI for the PAL/ NTSC stuff and as I see it there is nothing else really out there. If anyone knows something else please do chip in!
