Hi - long time Cubase user trying to cross-train on ProTools 11.
I downloaded the PT11 Trial software and installed without any issues. Software is up and running.
In order to fastrack myself I am working through some videos and I immediately noticed that on the demonstrator's system, when creating a new project, there should be a group of Templates from which to choose. On my install, there are no default templates in the starting dialog box, nor are there any located in the directory (~/<username>/Documents/Pro Tools ).
Does anyone know if this is a limitation of the Trial software I downloaded? Or do I have a corrupted installation...? So far everything else seems to be working.
Specs:
8 core MacPro, 24G RAM, 500G SSD System Drive, 1TB Record drive, OSX 10.9.5 Pro Tools 11.2.2 RME RayDat with 2xADI-8 Pro MkIII
