I purchased what I thought was an upgrade to PT11 from PTle 7.3. It was supposed to be a full version of PT. The packaging that the activation card came in says ASY XGD Pro Tools LE.
Have I been hornswoggled?
I'm afraid to register it in fear that I won't be able to change it to Pro Tools full version if I do and then be out even more $ and the Dec. 30 deadline for activation feels like they are holding a gun to my head. The limitations of LE are not worth a $200 upgrade since I have to change every part of my system to afford it.
Why can't Avid just be straight with me when I spend my hard earned money?
