I have both PT 10 and 11 co-installed on my custom built PC (Win 8.1 64bit). PT 11 works flawlessly, but I don't have all of my plugins available (most importantly, POD Farm 2). I mean, it really works well. No freezes or errors of any kind.
I also have PT 10.3.9 installed so I can use my other plugins. Well, everything loads fine. I can hear playback from my sessions.
The problem I'm having is my entire system completely freezes randomly when using PT 10. It can be at any given time, when performing any given task. The only way for me to fix it is to hold the power button down to restart the machine.
I've searched countless threads on this topic but nothing seemed to work for me as of yet. I figured I'd throw my system specs out there and see if any of you guys can help.
Disclaimer: I know I have the onboard graphics card, and I know that's a no no with PT 10, but it doesn't cause a problem in 11 and I doubt that's the culprit here.
Thanks in advance.
