Rebuild Pro Tools File Session from recovery datas

Hi All,

It may have happened to some of you.

One of my assistant deleted some sessions we had still some work to do on.

He also emptied the trash etc etc...

We used a very usefull software called "External Disk recovery 3" for mac osx 10.6.8.

The software seems to have found the files we were missing as the audio files are back with their names.

Pro Tools sessions don't come with their names and as Pro Tools 5.1 (.pts) sessions while they were made on PTHD 10.3.9 as .ptx files.

It also found some text files that I see as being playlist files (xxx.plist).

THE PROBLEM is PTHD doesn't want to open these files anymore due to:

"Could not complete your request because Assertion in"/Volumes/Development/ws.ProTools_10.3.9/AlturaPorts/PT4_App/MacBuild/../Main/UProToolsApp.cpp", line 3091" on some sessions, and on some others it says :

"Could not complete your request because out_of_range: Cmn_PolyVectorImpl::At while translating Audio Playlist Sets."

If I change the .pts file to .ptx nothing changes.

What I understand is that the software found each files as an independant file while .ptx files may be combined files.

So the question is HOW DO YOU COMPILE THOSE FILES BACK, and do I have a chance to make those files work again together?

Thanks a lot for your help.

Of course it's urgent!

And Merry Xmas!
