Gigabyte GA-H81M-S1 + Core i5 + 8GB/1600 - will it work with MBox 2 and PT 8.0.5?

I need to improve performance of my system. Will it work with PT 8.0.5 LE and MBox2 interface..?

Does Core i5 processors are good working with my configuration? I need mainly expand RAM memory. My mainboard doesn't support now more than 4GB :/ Maybe someone can suggest any good hardware configuration with 8GB of memory..?
