Pro Tools Panning Question 3 Tracks to Aux to Main Buss

Hi all,



We have a session with 3 separate Mono Horn tracks bussed to a Stereo Aux Input that is bussed to the Main Mix Buss.



We panned the Mono Horn Tracks to >5 >20 > 35. The Aux Input panning left at default <100 100>.



When the horn tracks were solo'ed it sounded like they were spread across the center of the sound field. Phase Scope confirms this.



When I set the panning on the Stereo Aux to >5 >35 you can hear that the horns are right of center and Phase Scope confirms that too.



Anybody have any inputs on how this works in Pro Tools?
