I am running PT 8.x on a Intel Tower Mac 2.93 GHz. Something weird happened while I was editing something and I am not sure what the cause is. I went to "Unhide/Make Track Acitve" and there was no audio. My first thought was maybe I was running out of voices, but a majority of the tracks were inactive at that point.
I ran the Pro Tools Prefs Tool and nuked my prefs, turned everything off and gave it a minute then powered back up and things seemed ok for just about a minute or two. Then random tracks on the left turned red. Does anyone have any idea what might be happening?
I would really appreciate any ideas.
