I have an older setup - 003 Rack+, Pro Tools LE 8.0.5 and Snow Leopard.
I upgraded the computer to 10.9.5 Mavericks (I know, not officially supported by PT 8.0.5). Everything worked fine.
I decided that I wanted to use the 003 hardware with other DAWs (Garageband to start out with) so I installed the 003 drivers (http://ift.tt/1iu4FX1).
Now, I can use the 003 with Garageband but when I open Pro Tools it gives me the "Unable to locate Digidesign hardware..." error. What did I do? Is there a way I can use both Pro Tools and Garageband?
Do I need to uninstall the newer drivers to use Pro Tools?
