I normally don't use Arturia's Analog Lab since I got the V Collection 4 but I'm working on a couple of pieces where I have no idea of what synth to use so I use AL to pick through quickly and when I find one I like that fits in the session I replace it with a separate synth, deleting AL.
Well I ran into a problem. There was an octave difference between AL and the separate synth with AL being one octave higher than the separate synth. Posted on the Arturia forums about this and one of their people got back to me within a couple of hours. I gave him the steps to repro this and he was able to and it turns out that Analog Lab is the software that's off my an octave and the separate synths are okay. Turns out it's a Mac-only issue according to him. Says they'll be rolling this into a new fix.
How to repro:
Create an Instrument track in PT
Insert Arturia Analog Lab, pick a synth and a patch
Record some MIDI to the Instrument track.
Hit play and listen
Now delete AL and insert the synth you used in AL along with the same patch
Hit play and listen and you'll find things are now 1 octave lower (which is the correct octave to the Arturia person)
