Audio files become distorted upon import

I'm working on ProTools 11. I imported my omf files and picture lock, and realized that there was a distortion peak on all the dialogue-not on background noise. Listening to the sound files separately through itunes, and watching the picture lock export on quicktime player, I realized that the audio files are fine and only become distorted after being imported into protools.

I increased the buffer size, which helped a little but there is still a lot of distortion on the dialogue. Is there another setting that could be causing this?
