Trying to work out the best way to track voice overs from another part of the building...
I have a vocal booth downstairs containing studio mac with Pro Tools 10 installed. Talent comes in and records VO's for TVC's etc.
Meanwhile, I'm upstairs with the client who is monitoring the talents performance. I control the vocal booth pro tools session using screensharing from upstairs with the client. The client also watches the film / tvc on a TV (fed by the upstairs mac screenshare) alongside the audio from the session + VO tracking.
We are currently using "Soundfly" and "LineIn" but it is very glitchy / laggy.
Can anyone suggest an alternative? Ethernet? Magic? Unicorns?
