Are you guys experiencing the same thing? Every time i fire up PT11 (11.2.1) to work on a video, it has to "connect to the video engine".. At my job I'm often working with 3-5 second short clips.. And every time it takes about a minute + to connect.. Is this normal?
In PT10 it would be instant and I wouldn't have to wait for any connection. And obviously when I'm working on a longer video, it takes longer to connect.. Any advice / info on this would be helpful. Im using h.264 MP4's and have tried other recommended formats without any success. It would be nice not to have to wait for this progress bar to load up every time i work in PT11
Im using a Macbook Pro 15" I7 with 16gb of ram and SSD drive.
