I'm used to consolidate clips and then edit them in an external software. I save them with a new suffix and then quickly drag and drop them back into PT edit window.
Now, in PT11 this does not work any longer. When dragging the new file from browser into edit window it is always replaced by the old, already existing file, even though it has a different file name.
When importing same file via audio-import-dialog it says that the file has "the same unique identifier as a file already in this session" and offers me to stamp the file.
Did not have this issue in PT10, is it a bug, or a pref?
