Error "Could not create new document because Assertion in '/Volumes...'"[solved]

Hi there,



When starting PT 11.3.1, I am greeted with the following error message:



Could not create a new document because Assertion in "/Volumes/Development/151228/ProTools/DFW/MacBuild/../Views/UMenu.MacOS.mm", line 1549.



Attempts to create new session once program has booted are greeted with the same error.



Have gone through the usual PT troubleshooting (trashing preferences, etc.) but to no avail.



Can anyone help a guy out?
