Fet comp/limiter with classic Urie 1176 rev E sound. This is Purple Audio’s earlier version built from stocks of original Urie parts. XLR input and output. It duplicates Urie’s discrete analog circuit from transformer input (with balanced T-pad attenuator), gain stages, fet control, power supply components, practically everything until the final output stage (which uses a beefier transformer). I've worked with 1176’s for my entire career, this works and sounds the same. There is no better vocal compressor. The 2-button and all-buttons down tricks work the same, too.
