Looking to get an interface so I can run with protools. At first I was going to get a third gen mbox but noticed that they are kind of obsolete now and nobody is selling them anymore. Back when I had a home studio 10 years ago you just bought the mbox and protools came with it. Now it seems you have to buy a separate interface and then buy protools.
Anyways I was going to buy a used avid mbox off craigslist or eBay for around 200, should I get something else like a Saffire, that seems to be what everybody insisting now? Thanks
