Protools 10 and Mac osX 10.10 Yosemite problems

Can someone helps me find a solution??? I recently started using my protools 10 after about a year away from it. In the last year I got a new MacBook Pro with Mac OS X 10.10 Yosemite. Went to download protools update and started reading about compatibility issues with PT 10 and Yosemite...which would probably explain "glitches" I'm now experiencing in my sessions...drop down menus in the edit window are not displaying info until you scroll the mouse down the menu. Also getting cpu overload issues, which shouldn't be a problem with my 16gb ram, 2.5 Ghz quad core processor... Are my days with PT 10 doomed on my new computer? Thank you for your time...
