Pt 8.0.5 pia

Forgive me if this is in the wrong place...I still use PTLE 8.0.5 on my BACKUP rig. Had to rebuild the PC..using 64-bit Win 7 Ultimate/Asus P7 mobo, i5, 8gb ram,M box 2. I've installed Pro Tools MANY times before but never had a hassle with it like I am now. Did the 8.0.3 install first, and every time I try to run the updater, it hangs on "driver installation." I read somewhere else to run the 8.0.3 installer, but do NOT connect the Mbox when it tells you to, til you run the 8.0.5 updater. Problem is, when I did that, it ALSO hung on driver installation....wouldn't continue til I plugged in the Mbox. Is this a common hassle setting up 8.0.5 on a 64-bit OS? The one that died was 32-bit....:mad:
