Waves DeBreath question with room tone

Hi there--

I independently edit audiobooks for people who record them privately in my home studio. I have both Reaper and Pro Tools. I have to use Reaper for this one because I have Pro Tools 11 and for some reason, this plugin doesn't work on it. (I'm sure plenty of you know why, but I'm kind of new at audio editing right now, so forgive me).

This is potentially a MAJOR time saver for me because it can take out noisy breaths made by my reader and I won't have to constantly split the track, take out the breath and cut and paste room tone in its place. I was especially excited about this plugin because it has the option of having it replace the gate-like silence where the breath has been taken out with room tone. I want to use MY room tone that I recorded before the session so I can make it sound as natural as possible. I am aware that my needs are much more subtle than those of someone recording a singer over music. I just didn't see any setting where I can program it to use MY room tone--just a setting to adjust the "level" of the room tone.

Is this an issue of it being different on Pro Tools than Reaper? If not, is there a way to program the plugin so it uses MY room tone? I really hope there is. If not, is there a way to maybe channel the path so that it plays different parts of tracks to make it sound like one track?

I haven't made it sound too confusing. Any help would be much appreciated! Hopefully I can help someone out when I am not such a newbie.
