Whats the M-Audio interface you recommend?

Here's my goal. I am gradually trying to switch from the digital to a more analogue sound.



Heres what my set up is like:



Protools m powered 8, reason 4.0. Mpc 1000. pro mpa II tubed pre amp, fast track pro(It went bad). SM 78. AKG C414.



I have about 500 bucks to work with.



Is better to buy a cheap interface and a decent compressor to help give me more warmth with the mpc 1000?. If so what compressor and interface would you recommend?



Or is it better to:



Just buy a better quality interface which is what I'm considering.



If so what interface would you recommend that would allow me to use Protools M-Powered 8, Reason 4.0, Mpc 1000 drum machine, Art Pro Mpa II Simultaneously. I am also guessing that the interface should have midi abilities.
