"Commit" when using multis

"Commit" confusion in Pro Tools -

The client wants all tracks as audio stems for their vocal session.
  • The session has a buncha midi tracks, with 4 multi players instantiated.
  • Some tracks all go through one multi (Aria Player), some of those also go to more than one player (EW Play, for example) .. etc.
  • All the player audio comes back in via auxes, some of which go on to section submixes...100% midi and routing, no audio in the session.

Selecting all Midi tracks and choosing "Commit" creates only 4 committed tracks, one for each multi player.

So, I tried committing one at a time, but got some error and fail on the first one.

The thing that DID work to get all the tracks was bounce em one by one, with the appropriate auxes and submix auxes soloed along with the midi track (and reverb bus deactivated).

How would you do this?
- Commit the instrument input auxes, not the midi?
