11 rack preset sounds dont work

I just received my 11 rack and I'm having some issues. When I first turned the unit on it seemed like there were no effects being turned on. I went through the first 8-9 preset and all the knobs were red and it sounded like it wasn't doing anything. The next preset had green lights on the knobs and I could hear the effects. The same went for the next few preset, green knobs and effects. Then the next few were all red knobs and no effects. About half on the presets don't work. Im hoping this is a software glitch that someone here can help me out with. I haven't installed any software yet (I don't want to break the seal) in case I have to return it. Any thoughts would be appreciated.
