Magic fader?

Hi, I am currently mixing monitors for a music group consisting mostly of tracks on an Avid Profile. Each member of the group has stereo ears sent from Auxes. I mix the tracks in post fader and have a consistent level across all tracks to each of the aux sends. That way when I ride the guitars lets say that it will change for everybody's mix. The problem is when the artist asks for overall tracks to be up or down I'll have to select their mix and pull down 12 or so channels at a time. I'd like to do this in one fader move if possible to keep things more consistent and quicker. I thought about outputting all track channels to a matrix and returning them to a stereo channel and sending it out as a stereo mix but I have many snapshots in place already with certain levels of individual tracks changing for different artists for different songs. Is there a way to use a VCA or other fader to control the relative level changes of the aux sends?
