Need help with setting up the system

I'm looking for a little help. I'm using Pro tools 8.0 HD with three 192 I/O connected via TDIF to Yamaha DM2000 console. Problem is, that all input meters on 192 I/O are full on red, and if i hit a ready for record button on any track in pro tools, some serious noise if coming to a console. On the other hand, playback of some older sessions works just fine:confused::confused:...any advices? thanks
