Hello folks,
I have a weird one here - and time is pressing so I thought I'd give the community a go before waiting for the editor to figure out what might have gone wrong.
The OMF I have is out of sync by a frame or two to the guide audio imported from the QT.
I'm on PT10 CPTK. What is weird is that not every clip is globally out of sync the same, some are even on, and what really got me: it jumps by 2 frames during a full on interview take WITHOUT a cut. So the first sentance is in sync when I nudge it to line up, the second is OUT by 2 frames. Right in the middle of room tone, no cut audible, no loop, not even visible in the waveform.
Has anybody encountered this before?
I am still waiting for more info (editor software etc.). The OMF was embedded, so I cannot really check anything there.
Any ideas are greatly appreciated as time is running out for handing the session over to the supervisor/mixer. This whole "jumps in mid-take" thing has stopped me from aligning the OMF to the guide as I just don't trust any signal at the moment.
Cheers,
Andrew
