Has anyone had any latency issues using the UAD-2 SATELLITE connected to a new Mac Pro (garbage pale one) with a Thunderbolt/Firewire adaptor?
I'm getting some latency in Pro Tools 10.3.7 when using the UAD plugs. This is when I'm mixing, not tracking, so it's very odd why this is occurring. This has only started since using the new Mac Pro. My older Macbook Pro laptop has no latency issues and connects all with firewire. No thunderbolt.
The other factor I should mention is that I'm noticing this issue more often when using a USB 3.0 hard drive in conjunction with satellite. But, Universal Audio says that USB hard drives should be ok, generally speaking.
