Do I have to install Pro tools 8LE before PT9

Hiya

Im new here and am changing to Pro Tools,

I have just bought a used Protools 8LE with Protools 9

Can someone please tell me if

I have to install Pro tools 8LE before I install Pro Tools 9

or can I just install Pro Tools 9 from the CD.



Also How do I go about resistering in my name with Avid and iLok

I have got a new usb iLok key.
