importing an OMF or AAF into an existing session?

G’day guys.



When I import an OMF or AAF into an existing session or template using import session data the OMF or AAF creates new tracks. Is this normal or is there a way to force them onto tracks that already are in the session? Is there a way to move all clips on a track onto another track? Along those lines, how do I move a single clip vertically only in PT11? I have found conflicting answers on the net and found when I try the suggestions the results are not consistent.



I'm running PT11.1.3 Win7 64bit
