Mac OSX 10.9.3 and PTHD 9.0.6

Well...some background. Mac Pro 1,1 downstairs which is my audio rig with PT HD 9.06 and Mac OS 10.6.8 - been pretty flawless but I figured WTF I'd try to update to Maverick 10.9.3 on my old Mac Book Pro 2.4 GHz Intel Core Duo and see what happened. Fired up HD 9.0.6, it opened. Imported a stereo file, split into mono and duplicated for days. I have 100 audio tracks going at 32 sample buffer and I armed one...and hit record. I don't really use it to record but I'm pretty sure this performance is way better than it was on 10.6.8. I'm not much on the Dverb test but I'm sure I could stick a verb on an aux and do this. The plugs seem to be working. I'm thinking about installing Maverick on a spare drive on my Mac pro 1,1 and seeing what happens. I really wasn't expecting it to work.
