What's the best way of lobbying AVID for a feature upgrade? I'm a new PT User and could really use more MIDI ports to talk to VEP 5.
Currently we're limited to 16 ports. I think most big template composers would rally for 32 ports, and 48 would be ideal and hopefully future proof.
I'm curious how much user support exists for such a feature. I know it would make PT much more attractive for a bunch of composer friends, and so far I've been extremely happy with the way that Pro Tools handles audio routing and processing.
Would love any words of wisdom from longtime users, and also people familiar with the culture at Avid.
