Another vote for Real-Time MIDI EFFECTS/PLUGINS: arpeggiators, delays/echoes, scale/mode/chord quantizers.
Would be fantastic if the effects could be inserted as plugins, ala Ableton, etc.
As others have noted the MIDI effects in Ableton Live and Logic are awesome tools and completely missing from Pro Tools.
I think the MID implementation in ProTools is far better than people give it credit for and having these tools would make me so content with the platform and I think would attract more composers/song-writers/beat-maker types.
