Hi guys..sorry to bother you guys a bit. But I just cannot figure out the answer, because I dun own a ProTools HD system myself.
I'm using a PT10 native (with CPTK) with a 8-core mac pro. Here, I can open a stereo 16bit/48KHz project of close to a 100 Audio/Aux tracks (in total) with a lots of plugins on various tracks.
But the very same session can't be fully open on a Protools HD TDM (not HDX) system. Alot of the tracks are made inactive due to lack of TDM DSP accordingly to error msg when I try to make them active. why is that so? The TDM system has 6 DSP 192 voices. Even I converted all the plugins to native instead of DSP, and vice versa, it's still the same. Can you guys enlighten me abiit..I tot TDM supposed to be more powerful than Native?
