Please help.
I would like to show some students some examples of how 5.1 sound is achieved by importing a ripped DVD file into Pro Tools. ( I own the DVD! )
So far I haven't had any luck, the conversion process just seems to end up giving me stereo in PT9HD
What's worse is the students will be stuck with just Handbrake, VLC and Quicktime if they want to try this for themselves.
Are there foolproof pre-sets in Handbrake to convert to something that either VLC or Quicktime can then convert to something that will fly straight into PT9HD keeping the 5.1 sound?
Or even better a setting to get something straight out of Handbrake itself that flies straight into PT9HD keeping the 5.1 sound?
Someone must have done this, I've tried for hours so far and no luck!
Thanks in advance....
