For years I've used the Mojo/Mojo SDI with PT version 7 through 10 to capture video directly into the timeline in PTHD. I believe that type of capture was not possible if using 3rd party peripherals like Blackmagic (they could only playback) but the avid stuff would allow capture to the timeline.
Now AVID has rewritten the video engine for 11 and discontinued support for the original firewire Mojo peripherals. If I bite the bullet and spend the extra dough on a Nitrus of Mojo DX interface, will I still be able to capture directly into the timeline in PT11HD as I've done previously?
No manual for either PT or the interfaces specifically states if it works... however the sales literature seems careful to specifically say "play and edit video..." with zero mention of record or capture. And google has revealed nothing.
So does anyone know? Is anyone using PT11HD with avid video peripherals?
