"USD can’t lock to it’s clock..." Universal Slave Driver/Superclock

USD can not sync with interface(s) in any of the following configurations:





USD as stand alone:



[USD {Superclock OUT} → AD8K via Digi-8+ {Slave Clock IN, AMBUS};

USD Front Panel: Clock Ref: INTERNAL/VSO: DI6 rEF: 256 CLOC]





With ProTools (5.1.3):



[USD {Superclock OUT} → AD8K via Digi-8+ {Slave Clock IN, AMBUS};

Session Setup: Sync Mode/internal; Clock Ref: Internal/VSO;

USD Front Panel: Clock Ref: INTERNAL/VSO: DI6 rEF: 256 CLOC]



--USD front panel reflects LOCKED to Internal/VSO, but no superclock sync to Interface #1)





As slave/resolver:



[Genx6 {Superclock OUT} → USD {Superclock IN};

Session Setup: Sync Mode/internal; Clock Ref: Superclock;

USD Front Panel: Clock Ref: DIGITAL: DI6 rEF: 256 CLOC]



--no playback-- “USD can’t lock to it’s clock to the current video reference. Please check cables and video reference source. Please notify Digidesign of this problem.”



(If the chosen clock reference source is un- available, or the current configuration is not valid, the Locked LED on the far-right of the USD front panel will flash.)





All [other] aspects of the system are functional.



USD connected to MIX CORE Card and DOES talk to ProTools.



AD8K via Digi-8+ (Interface #1) and Genx6 (Master Clock) each verified to lock with Superclock INs and OUTs.



Cables verified.



What are the correct settings for the USD/ProTools?!
