Copy/Paste Issue Causing Audio to change pitch

I have come across an issue that I can't quite seem to wrap my head around. I was recording drums (8 tracks) and got about half way through the song. Audio was recorded well and sounded great. The section I got done recording, simply repeats itself. So I copied and pasted where it should repeat. Here is where the issue begins.



The audio plays just fine and there are no errors until you get to the beginning of the repeated section. All of a sudden, the pitch seems to have changed slightly higher. The snare really stands out as a pitch change. I have recorded many songs and this is the first time i have ever run into this. I should add that the song has a tempo and time signature change in it. But this should not matter since the recording was done correctly and with a click track. I can't understand why the same, repeated section is playing back wrong.



If anyone has any advice or if you have ever experienced this before, please help. Hopefully my description was easy to understand.
