I need help! Sample rate issue?

So, every time i record in pro tools 11, while tracking everything seems fine. But when i play it back its double time?? a few times it was even half-time.. my session is at 44.1khz (as well is the apollo duo) but this keeps on happening and i don't know whats going on! i must be missing something! :confused: help me please!
